Just finished this crew neck sweater. A twist on the Breakwater Crew, this sweater that’s yet unnamed is made with brown heather Lion Brand Fisherman’s Wool and fire safety red acrylic yarn left over from Oma’s stash from the 60s. The view from the front:

I just completed an afghan that means a lot to me. One, because I fashioned it after an afghan Oma gave me many years ago (which appears on the left), and two, because it’s going to two people who are lovely. Measures 70″ x 42″ and is crocheted in navy, berry, bubblegum, heather grey, citron, lake, kelly, and taupe.  Though the photo doesn’t do the vibrant colors true justice, I’m proud of this latest project, and can’t wait to get it to its owners.

I made a knit t-shirt.

 I made the hat from yarn I got from Oma.  It’s literally as bright as it looks in the picture.  Too bad it’s that kind of acrylic yarn from the 60s that feels like plastic.
